For the first time, Coaltrans Southern Africa is bringing you the opportunity to visit one of the most abundant mines in South Africa.

The Khanye Colliery is Canyon Coal’s flagship greenfield opencast mine with reserves of around 39-million tonnes with a remaining life of approximately 16 years. 

The trip will include a presentation from the General Manager as well as a tour of the pit and the plant. 

Understand Khanye Colliery’s mining and plant operations and witness first-hand the workings of one of Southern Africa’s most successful mines.
