AARON GOACH is a co-founder and the Chairman and CEO of Global Criterion Solutions, a strategic venture capital firm and Google Partner owned and managed by Harvard-trained professionals with an aggregate of more than three decades of experience incubating emerging companies and promoting frontier technologies, sustainability solutions and impact investing in the Philippines, Indochina and other frontier markets across the APEC, ASEAN and SAARC regions. A Harvard-trained lawyer, Mr. Goach began his career on Wall Street before moving to Hong Kong after the Asian Financial Crisis to advise on the listing of China's public enterprises, including the 2006 US$22 billion dual listing of ICBC, then the largest IPO in world history, during his tenure at Merrill Lynch. The grandson of a Pennsylvania coal miner and Pennsylvania Power & Light lineman, Mr. Goach is mining new ground in the Philippines, where he is a Director of BlueSky Energy, an energy efficiency financing and development consultancy, and Global Criterion Solutions is a distributor of a range of innovative energy technologies including the revolutionary STXMultifeed waste-to-energy gasifier technology. Mr. Goach is a Bretton Woods Committee Member, Independent Power Producers Forum Officer and a regular ADB, APCAC, APEC, ASEAN Business Club, IMF, World Bank and World Economic Forum Delegate. He has appeared on Bloomberg Television, CNN, People's Television Philippines and other major media networks and has been featured in The American Lawyer, Asian Legal Business, Corporate Counsel Magazine, Euromoney, FinanceAsia, International Financial Law Review and other major publications. Mr. Goach is a graduate of the Harvard Law School where he was a Teaching Fellow in the Economics Department of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences at Harvard College.
