Tom Kearney is founder and managing director of a coal industry advisory and commodity-broking firm (T.M. Kearney & Co. Ltd). Tom serves as an agent for coal producers (e.g., mining companies in Russia and South Africa) and buyers (e.g., utilities in Europe and Asia) and advises clients on the execution of coal and coal-related infrastructure transactions in the former Soviet Union, Europe, and Southern Africa. Tom has originated and executed over 15 million metric tons of steam coal transactions to date. Tom is also the co-founder and Managing Partner of a corporate finance boutique (Connect Capital Partners Limited) that works with clients to raise financing, buy & sell assets, source commodities and form cross border strategic commercial relationships.
